(July 31, 2017) — Warren Averett CPAs and Advisors, a top 35 accounting firm in the United States, is proud to announce Richard Huckaby as the new Office Managing Member for the Tampa office. Leading the Central Florida market, Huckaby will succeed Ralph Garcia who is retiring after serving the Firm successfully for 37 years, the last 14 as Tampa’s Office Managing Member.

Huckaby is passionate about client service and has been helping Tampa clients grow and thrive for more than 18 years. Huckaby has been an essential part of the successful integration with Warren Averett, having served on the Firm's Executive Committee as well as numerous other Firm leadership positions including the Manufacturing & Distribution and the State and Local Tax (SALT) client service teams.

While Huckaby continues to make a significant impact on Tampa professionally, he is also passionate about giving back to the community. Huckaby is involved is several Tampa area organizations including Best Buddies of Tampa Bay, CFO Exchange, GiGi’s Playhouse Tampa and The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce. Richard is also a graduate of Leadership Tampa’s Class of 2011. Richard and his wife reside in South Tampa with their three children.
