New Assurance Office Managing Partner Named for the Jacksonville Office of BDO USA, LLP

Jacksonville, FL — BDO USA, LLP, one of the nation’s leading accounting and advisory organizations, announced that Paul Davison has been named the Office Managing Partner for the assurance practice of BDO’s Jacksonville office.

Paul’s tenure with BDO began in 2016 when he joined the firm’s Columbus office following 13 years with Arthur Anderson and 14 years with EY. In total, he brings more than 29 years of experience in public accounting, including 15 years as a partner. During that time, he has developed a breadth of experience leading public and large private company audits.

“We are very happy to announce that Paul Davison has agreed to assume the Jacksonville Assurance OMP position. His technical skills and knowledge of audit methodology will lead our team of audit professionals and guide our growing assurance practice”, states Neal Von Stein, Tax Office Managing Partner.

Paul has significant experience with a wide range of financial statement reporting matters, including registration statement filings, merger consummations, and interim and annual reporting requirements. Additionally, he possesses an extensive background in complex accounting matters, including business combinations, restructuring and complex stock-based compensation matters. From an industry standpoint, Paul helps middle-market manufacturers, consumer products and retail companies solve complex business and operational problems. In addition, he has held an International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) certification since 2012.
