CPA David Donten Joins Board of Big Dog Ranch Rescue
 
West Palm Beach, FL – The CPA firm of Caler Donten Levine Cohen Porter & Veil, P.A. (CDL) is pleased to announce that shareholder David Donten has joined the Board of Directors of Big Dog Ranch Rescue, a not-for-profit organization in Palm Beach County.   
 
Donten, along with 15 other Board members, will direct and guide Big Dog Ranch Rescue as it continues its mission of rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming puppies and dogs on  its’ 33-acre campus in Loxahatchee Groves.  Since 2005, Big Dog Ranch Rescue has rescued more 26,000 dogs and is the largest, cage-free, no-kill facility in the United States.  Centered on a “Disney for Dogs” philosophy, Big Dog Ranch Rescue allows the dogs to roam and play on the large, supervised grounds, creating a happy environment for both dogs and visitors, and ultimately, successful adoptions. 
 
In addition to Big Dog Ranch Rescue, Donten also serves on the Board of Directors of The Baxter Foundation and The Boys and Girls Club of Palm Beach County.  He also serves as an advisory board member for The Place of Hope and The Quantum House.

Donten has more than 35 years of public accounting experience.  He specializes in corporate, individual, fiduciary, real estate and construction taxation.  Donten began his career with an accounting firm in New Jersey, and became a founding partner of CDL in West Palm Beach in 1989.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA).
