Andrea Riesen, CPA

MAITLAND – Andrea Riesen, CPA, has joined the Central Florida firm Taylor Lombardi Hall & Wydra, P.A., (TLHW) as principal, firm partner Van Taylor announced today.

"Andrea's extensive background in a variety of business sectors, as well as her involvement in the local community and professional organizations, makes her a valuable addition to our group," said Taylor. "We are proud and excited to have her on board."

Riesen's 24 years of professional experience includes tax and attest services at both national and Central Florida firms providing tax compliance, planning and client representation services with an emphasis on real estate, construction, medical and professional service companies. She also has provided audits and accounting services to nonprofit organizations, investment companies, governmental entities and other small businesses.

Riesen graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida with a bachelor of science in accounting, and earned a master of taxation, also at UF. She is a member of the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.

In July 2014, Riesen begins her term as chairman for the Central Florida chapter of Florida Institute of CPAs (FICPA), the state's largest chapter with more than 1900 members. Riesen was nominated as an FICPA Exceptional Leader in June 2013.

Previously, Riesen provided extensive community service and served as assistant chair and mentor on several charitable committees of the Junior League of Greater Orlando. In the fall of 2014, Riesen joins Leadership Winter Park-a program of the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce that identifies and promotes potential leaders from the business community-for a one-year term.
