CBIZ ANNOUNCES MACEOVSKY PROMOTION 

Clearwater, FL (January 25, 2019) — The Tampa Bay office of CBIZ announces the promotion of John Maceovsky to director. 

Maceovsky has been with CBIZ for more than 22 years. Throughout this time, he has gained valuable experience in federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, and trusts. He has coordinated consulting projects dealing with a wide range of issues, including the tax implications of corporate formation, reorganization and liquidation; multi-state income tax planning strategies; tax planning for S corporations and shareholders; partnership limited liability company operations and liquidation planning and estate planning for high wealth individuals. Maceovsky has also represented client interests during Internal Revenue Service and Florida Department of Revenue field audits, in addition to coordinating the field examinations. 

Maceovsky received his Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of South Florida. He is a CPA and a member of the AICPA and FICPA. Maceovsky has served on the Goodwill-Suncoast Industries Board of Directors, the Academy of the Holy Names Parents Annual Fund Committee and the WEDU Estate and Tax Planning Seminar Planning Committee. He is also a Tampa Connection graduate.
