CBIZ & MHM Announce Burton Promotion

The Tampa Bay office of CBIZ and MHM P.C. (Mayer Hoffman McCann) announces the promotion of Dana Burton to managing director at CBIZ MHM, LLC and shareholder, MHM P.C..

Burton has been with CBIZ and MHM for more than 17 years. Throughout this time, she has gained valuable experience in all aspects of audit, review and compilation services as well as SEC reporting. She also advises clients on reporting requirements for defined contribution and defined benefit plans. Burton is well versed in complex transactions including the implementation of new accounting pronouncements, capital raises, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and financings.

Burton received her Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of South Florida. She is a CPA and a member of the AICPA and FICPA. Burton serves on the USF Accounting Circle Board of Directors and has served as a Tampa Bay Business Journal BizWomen Mentoring Monday mentor. Burton is also a Tampa Connection graduate.
