Any individual who is a licensed Certified Public Accountant of any state or territory of the United States or the District of Columbia who works or resides in Florida. This classification includes voting rights and chapter membership, and is eligible to serve on Council, standing committees, general committees, task forces, chapter officer or chapter board member.

Retired Member (1K) $100
Any individual who is fifty-five (55) years or older, has retired from the accounting profession, and either is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in any state or territory of the United States or the District of
Columbia or was so licensed at any time during the past ten (10) years. Such person affirms that they do not prepare tax returns, compilations, performs accounting or auditing work, prepares reviews or provides
MAS services for a fee in excess of 500 hours in a twelve (12) month period. There is not a restriction of hours worked on a volunteer basis. Voting membership if work or resides in Florida.

Non-Resident (4) $240
A Certified Public Accountant licensed in any state or territory of the United States or the District of Columbia who maintains their domicile and works outside the State of Florida. Eligible to serve on general committees, task forces including Chair or Vice Chair positions.

Accounting Educator (1J) Complimentary
An adjunct or full-time accounting or finance professor of a college or university. The educator agrees to promote the FICPA student or CPA Candidate membership, announce upcoming student events and scholarship opportunities to his/her students. Any adjunct professor jointly working as a CPA or accountant would qualify for the CPA or Associate category. Voting Membership if a licensed Certified Public Accountant and works or resides in Florida. Eligible to serve on Council, standing committees, chapter officer or chapter board member if a Voting member. Eligible to serve on general committees and task forces.

Any non-CPA individual not currently holding an active or inactive Certified Public Accountant license from any state or territory. Affiliate members are non-voting and are not eligible to serve on Council, standing committees, chapter officer or voting chapter board member.

Associate Member (3) - $175
Any individual working in a professional accounting/finance capacity and is not approved to sit for the exam ‘Eligible for Exam’ by the Florida Board of Accountancy within the past three years. Eligible for chapter membership and to serve on general committees and task forces. |

Firm Administrator/Office Manager (Non-CPA) (5) Complimentary
Any individual who is designated as a firm administrator or office manager for an entity and said individual does not hold a certificate as a CPA and does not otherwise qualify for a different category of membership. The entity must employ at least one active FICPA CPA voting member.

CPA Candidate (6) $36
A college graduate with a degree in accounting or finance that is currently listed with the Board of Accountancy as ‘Eligible for Exam’ within the past three years and does not qualify for another category of membership.

Student (7) Complimentary
An undergraduate student attending a college or university majoring in accounting or finance and does not qualify for another category of membership. A maximum of 5 years in this category. Eligible for chapter membership.
