Sen. Bob Graham to Address Florida CPAsCareer public servant to discuss accounting profession impact on Florida’s economyTALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida Institute of CPAs will host Florida Senator Bob Graham as keynote speaker at its Mega CPE Conference, Tuesday, June 12 in Orlando. Florida CPAs are required to earn 80 hours of continuing professional education (CPE) every two years to maintain their license. Graham will discuss the state of the state, the country and the accounting profession. After a 38-year career in public service, including two terms as governor and three terms as a U.S. Senator, Graham brings a unique perspective about the issues that face Florida and CPAs. Currently, Graham serves on several public and corporate boards, which include the CIA’s external advisory board, the board of oversight for the Bob Graham Center for Public Service at the University of Florida, and the American Institute of CPAs. He recently published his first novel, “Keys to the Kingdom.” Founded in 1905, the Florida Institute of CPAs is a Tallahassee-based, statewide, professional association representing member-CPAs throughout Florida.
