Every year, the FICPA offers hundreds of in-person CPE events across the state. We make every effort to provide convenient, valuable and high-quality CPE programs while offering engaging networking opportunities to help you move forward. Go Forth and Learn!



Seminars

 
Duration: 4–8 Hours / Format: In-Person

A typical FICPA seminar follows classroom-style programming, focuses on a single topic, is four to eight hours and is offered in multiple cities. These live events provide high quality CPE covering a broad range of topics at convenient locations. See seminars here.

Ethics For Florida

 

More than ever, professional advisors are scrutinized for their ethics and standards of care. The FICPA Ethics course safeguards things that are precious to you – your reputation and career. Conferences

 
Duration: 1–2 Days / Format: In-Person

An FICPA conference follows an industry-focused agenda, is one to two days, occurs in a major city, offers up to 20 hours of CPE, and provides networking opportunities. Each year the FICPA schedules more than 20 conferences focusing on industries such as law, government, construction, and health care. Conferences are developed by a committee of your peers who strive to bring you the most current updates available from national and international speakers. See Conferences here.

Shows

 
Duration: 3 or More Days / Format: In-Person

An FICPA show is a multi-day event that includes numerous CPE course tracks, networking opportunities, trade shows, exhibits and more. The FICPA hosts two shows each year.

Accounting and Business Show – The Accounting and Business Show is held in Fort Lauderdale each year and combines an exhibitor showcase featuring over 100 local and national vendors, the opportunity to earn more than 20 CPE credits and a social environment to enable networking with more than 1,000 CPAs and industry experts. Registration opens the end of June.

Mega CPE Conference – The Mega CPE Conference is the FICPA’s newest and most unique CPE experience. Mega is held in Orlando each summer, and offers labs, demonstrations, in-depth workshops as well as traditional classroom education. Get involved and enjoy the perfect bizcation with one-on-one speaker sessions, webcasts, roundtables, family-friendly excursions, unique networking opportunities and more.

Chapter Events

 
Duration: 1–3 Hours / Format: In-Person

An FICPA chapter event offers the opportunity to network or earn CPE credits during a luncheon or happy hour. Events are held throughout the state, are hosted by one of 27 chapters, and are planned by your peers. See Chapter Events here.

On-Site Customized Trainings

 
Duration: 1–8 Hours / Format: In-Person

An On-Site Customized Training event is tailored to your organization’s needs and is held at your location. The FICPA has partnered with the American Institute of CPAs and other providers to address the ever-changing needs of professionals. Together the FICPA and our partners provide core educational competency in technical skills, strategic and business management, leadership development, communications skills and ethics training. The FICPA is rapidly responding to COVID-19 recommendations regarding large gatherings. In response we are continually adding new content for you. Learn your way! Choose from any of our flexible, internet-based learning platforms, including: 

  1. Virtual – Prior in-person Conferences are being transitioned to a fully-virtual platform.  This platform includes live online interaction with speakers and attendees via forum. Click Here »

  2. Webinar – Live presentation with speaker audio, video and PowerPoint presentation.  Attendees can ask questions. Speaker will repeat questions to share with all attendees and answer questions as time allows. Individuals can also reach out to speakers directly via email after the event. Click Here »

  3. Webcast Replay – Replay of a prior in-person event.  Includes audio and video of the speaker, and the PowerPoint slides.  Speaker or subject matter expert is available to answer attendee questions via email. Click Here »

  4. Live-Stream – Online viewing of an live in-person event from the convenience of your home or office.  Includes speaker audio, video and PowerPoint slides. Participants can ask real-time questions of the speaker and receive live response, as time permits. Click Here »
