ConferencesDuration: 1–2 Days / Format: In-Person
An FICPA conference follows an industry-focused agenda, is one to two days, occurs in a major city, offers up to 20 hours of CPE, and provides networking opportunities. Each year the FICPA schedules more than 20 conferences focusing on industries such as law, government, construction, and health care. Conferences are developed by a committee of your peers who strive to bring you the most current updates available from national and international speakers. See Conferences here. An FICPA show is a multi-day event that includes numerous CPE course tracks, networking opportunities, trade shows, exhibits and more. The FICPA hosts two shows each year. Accounting and Business Show – The Accounting and Business Show is held in Fort Lauderdale each year and combines an exhibitor showcase featuring over 100 local and national vendors, the opportunity to earn more than 20 CPE credits and a social environment to enable networking with more than 1,000 CPAs and industry experts. An FICPA chapter event offers the opportunity to network or earn CPE credits during a luncheon or happy hour. An On-Site Customized Training event is tailored to your organization’s needs and is held at your location. The FICPA has partnered with the American Institute of CPAs and other providers to address the ever-changing needs of professionals. Together the FICPA and our partners provide core educational competency in technical skills, strategic and business management, leadership development, communications skills and ethics training.
